 | It sure is Wednesday! Obviously, I am very late which I do apologize for; to be honest, I was just feeling a little unmotivated to do anything TCG related last week so between that, several of my favourite games getting content updates which I of course wanted to play a lot of, and also getting sucked in with binge reading webtoons again, my time got zapped pretty quickly and easily without me really thinking about it - so I am really sorry for not only slacking on admin work but also delaying the update because I was too tired to update on Monday and then got busy on Tuesday as well ;; TCG NEWSI still am tired and sleepy right now though so I'm going to try speeding through this update as quick as possible, which means I didn't update any of the non-automatic games so any password games and ones I'd have to manually update/edit myself (like Taste Test) are re-using the same answers as the last time this set (Studio Program) was refreshed! However, members can still play all the games that are part of the listed sets as if they were updated, and we are accepting a new round of submissions for Collab Stage and Group Collect both as well so if you already donated to either/both rounds, you may now donate again.CARD SHIRATORI NOTICEAfter the changes made to the game a week ago due to the overwhelming activity, and seeing the current state of the game since, I've decided to make additional changes! Considering the game is already at 30+ pages and over 300 posts/replies when it's only been a bit over a week since the game started, I genuinely fear how much that'll grow if I keep the game on its original schedule LOLAs such, the first weekly rewards post will be done later this week and will cover plays made between August 3rd - 8th. I will then be pausing the game on August 15th at 11:59 PM TCG time to process plays made between August 9th - 15th, and also to give everyone a week-long break until August 23rd when the game will resume again and remain open until the end of the month as per the original deadline in case anyone still wants to play. This does in fact mean that those playing solely to gain extra votes for the event will now have one week less to do so, so if that was your goal then make sure you play as much as you can before the 15th! When the game re-opens on the 23rd, there will only be a little bit of time left to get in event-eligible plays before the Event Participant Deadline but once the 24th is over and the date changes to August 25th, any plays made afterwards will not count for votes. Regular rewards will still be given out for remaining plays made though, like originally planned! I do apologize if this is a disappointing announcement to anyone, and also because this is largely being done for a selfish reason of mine (seeing the current activity and assuming that it'll continue at this pace for another week or so because of the event is making me feel really overwhelmed and even with help to go through everything, I can already see it being a lot ;;) but I hope you guys will understand! Please know I appreciate the enthusiasm for the game/event though, I am just trying to help out my sanity and hopefully make things more manageable afterwards! I have been considering changing the designated update day again though since Monday also seems to not be working out as well as I thought it would but we shall see (and as always, I'll inform everyone if it does change). I forgot to edit the update on-site to say this as well but I made an announcement in our Discord that I would be postponing the monthly update until today because I forgot I had plans on Saturday that kept me out of the house for most of the day so by the time I got home, I didn't have time to update before it hit midnight. So here we are with another combined monthly and weekly update! Let's get to it, shall we? SITE MILESTONESWe've reached a new month and have a new Legendary Idol to commemorate so congrats to Noelle for being the latest to join the legendary ranks and here's to August! Anyone can take Noelle's milestone as long as you joined before today, while the monthly milestone can be taken by anyone who is already a member before or joins during August.  Site Milestones (2026-08-01): ev-202608, ev-legendaryidolnoelle TCG NEWSA new month means everything has been reset/updated: donations (monthly limits have returned to the regular 10 decks per player unless using appropriate boosts/perks), site games, specific forum games, etc. If you celebrate a birthday this month, don't forget to pick up your present and claim your Birthday Perk + Player Milestone on the forums before the 31st as well!GRAPHIC DONATIONS CAMPAIGNIn August, graphic donation limits will be tripled so you can donate up to 6 Rank Badge sets, 15 Broken CD and/or Photobook Shoot Images, and newly revived for this month only: 15 Link Buttons! The Graphic Donations Information post has been updated to reflect this, along with some added info about what counts as a complete set, etc.As always, all graphic donations DO count towards Fan Support Activities in our 1st Sparkling Senbatsu Election event if you're participating, so if you're looking for more ways to earn extra votes then this is your chance!! You will earn the same votes as usual (10 votes per completed set/doubled votes if it features your oshi) while Link Buttons & Photobook Shoot Images will follow the same vote breakdown as Broken CD images do. Please refer to the Event FAQ for more info that might not have fit into the information post above! FORUM ROUND UPAs of July 29th, we should be all caught up on the old forums and responded to everything that was still waiting for a reply (e.g. rewards, graphics, etc) and wasn't re-posted on the new forums. If you were missed or need anything fixed/changed, you can error report it on the new forums in the appropriate/closest applicable thread! Every member should now be posting on the new forums since we switched over on the 27th so if you don't haven't yet, make sure you make an account and starting using it.E-mails don't seem to be sending from the new forums so account approvals will need to be done manually by me so please DM or ping me in the server if you need that and I'll approve you as soon as I'm able to! I did install a plugin for alerts when you receive PMs, new replies to threads you're subscribed to, etc which you can see if you hover over your name/avatar in the top right of the forum navigation menu top bar but it may not work on mobile. As of today, I also finally succeeded in getting custom BB Codes on the new forums to work so everyone should be able to use the same codes as you did on the old forums to display cards and custom graphics again! If you need a refresher on the most commonly used codes, you can find them in the MyCodes Help Doc but please note that not all custom codes are displayed there. Codes that are mostly for staff use were not added to the doc but have been added to the forum settings so those should be the same as before too! MISC. ERROR FIXES
GAME UPDATESIn addition to the regular site games scheduled to update, new rounds for Collab Stage (this month's theme is SUMMER FESTIVALS) and Group Collect (we're collecting a general theme this time based on deck colours: BEACH SUNSET) have started! Unfortunately, we did not complete July's deck in full so participants will only receive Partial Completion Bonus rewards which will be sent later. We will post in the thread and on Discord once we have sent those out!Sparkling Tour is also wrapped for July and milestones for those who completed their set lists will be made at a later date! August registrations opened on the 1st and as mentioned before, there are no restrictions or limits on song/task difficulties again so make do with that as you need~ For this month's Special Challenge, players will be putting together their own Sparkling Summer Matsuri! Choose who you want to invite as your VIP Guests, promotional ambassadors, and special performers for the festival, make a playlist of songs that'll play throughout the festival grounds or be used as the set list for the main performance, and don't forget to provide food and activities too!! Find more in formation on the forums if you'd like to participate and remember to post before August 31st. Rewards for last month's Spot the Difference part and the bonus for completing both games will be sent later as well! 1ST SPARKLING SENBATSU EVENT GAMEI also bring to you our first Group Support Activity: a massive round of Card Shiratori! It doesn't matter if you have and haven't joined the event, everyone can participate as everyone will get regular rewards for playing, while event participants will get bonus votes on top.
