Join SPARKLING! TCG
Thank you for your interest in SPARKLING! TCG! Before filling up the form, please read through all the rules below. We will know if you don't because we do cover what to do to prevent as many errors as possible when registering, so you can get started in the TCG as soon as possible!
If you're new to TCGs, take a look at our Beginner's Guide if you haven't yet. We're happy to help you figure things out or provide extra assistance if you have any questions or confusion about how to do something - as long as you've tried looking for the answer yourself already!
For best results, please use a Gmail account when registering!
There have been many incidents in the past of non-Gmail accounts failing to receive the confirmation email from us which includes an account activation link. Without this link (which we cannot retrieve or send a new one out if lost), you will not be able to use your account even if we manually approve it!
GENERAL RULES
- Common courtesy with admins, staff, and fellow players is a MUST! You don't need to like everyone but please be civil and respectful. We have both a public server and forums that everyone uses so use your common sense. If you have a disagreement with someone, please take it elsewhere and deal with it privately!
- Understand that TCGs are just a hobby for many of us, admin and staff included. While we'll do our best to respond to things in a timely manner, sometimes things take longer than expected; please be patient with us and your fellow players, even when it comes to trading!
- Trades are a two way street and BOTH players must agree to a trade for it to be put through! If someone says no, respect their decision and do not push them to accept; similarily, do not rush people to approve trades (players will usually have a notice or rules about when to contact them about a trade if it's been long enough).
TCG ACTIVITY RULES
- Update your trade post at least once every two (2) months! We don't have a set activity check schedule but if we notice it's been 2+ months since your last activity (trading or otherwise) then your status will be changed to inactive and you must reactivate your account to regain full access to the TCG.
- Keep a detailed log on your trade post of everything earned AND lost/used/gifted in the TCG, including cards, currency, and all the extras! While site logs record most of your activity, it does not save everything so make sure your personal logs are up-to-date as well.
- We prefer if everyone uploads and hosts cards, currency, etc on their OWN site or with an image uploading site that retains filenames, but if you're unable to for whatever reason then direct linking should be fine!
- If you use eTCG, auto upload does work here and you can find all the auto upload URLs you should need in our guide!
- Please do NOT CHEAT! It's silly and unnecessary over some pixels, promise! This includes:
- intentionally refreshing any prize page or randomizer unless given permission to. Accidents are fine and do happen, just error report it on the forums for us to fix!
- directly giving out game answers in public (what you do in private is not our business but we do think it's fun to try and figure things out on your own). Hints are more than welcomed though!
- playing games more than once any time it's updated unless given permission to. Again, accidents happen and can be error reported for us to fix but double check dates on the game sets and your logs to make sure you're not playing something you already have!
- falsifying or editing logs for any reason (ie. changing cards to be ones you want, copying someone else's log you like better and uploading that, etc). If you make a mistake or take the wrong choice card, we do have a error reporting thread where you can fix it!

Registration Rules
- Use an email address—preferably Gmail (see above why)—that is valid and you have access to! We send a confirmation email with a link to activate your account and without it, you won't be able to log in.
- Have a working website to use as your trade post! It doesn't need to be ready at the time of joining, we just want to make sure you have a reliable place to host your tradepost. You can use a hosted site, a journal-type site (ie. Dreamwidth), a custom site builder (ie. Neocities) or other similar alternative.
- Use a realistic name or nickname but NO spaces, symbols, etc! If your name is already taken, use a dfferent spelling or variation of your name, or add a number instead (alphanumeric only).
- Provide a password so you can log in to your account, and be able to access forms and the interactive section. This password is encoded in the database and cannot be retrieved or viewed by anyone!
- Upload your starter pack within two (2) weeks! If you need more time, let us know or else you may be removed and will need to re-submit the form to join again.
- Sign up for a forum account after joining the site. Please read the forum rules as well before doing so, however!
