I'm going to try to speed through this as fast as I can because my arm really hurts but if I don't do the update now, I probably won't be able to do it later + I'll be out of town tomorrow so I definitely won't have time or energy to update until Wednesday if not today! Apologies if it'll be a pretty bare update/I forget some things aside from the forum issue news lol

TCG NEWS

If you're not a member of our Discord, you may not know about the current issues going on with the forums today, which is that some players were unable to login to their forum accounts despite not changing their password before. Both resetting the password via email or through the admin panel on my end did not work either, nor did trying to create a second account to temporarily use until this problem is resolved - the former didn't send an email and the latter two didn't load at all when you try to go through with it.

As of 1:30 PM TCG time, this issue seems to have solved itself (I initially started writing this update beforehand when things weren't working still) at least for the time being, so everything below this is now just a precaution/warning in case this problem happens again:

So far, this seems to be affecting a small minority of our members, however it just so happens that those who this has affected are also forum staff so while one was able to still access the forums from their phone, the others haven't been able to login yet // It seems like most of the staff who were affected are able to access the forums again, however I'll keep this info/explanation up in case it happens again so this is just a warning if this issue pops up again that some areas of the forums may be a bit slower and/or will have other staff filling in for the time being! As such, we ask for your understanding if there's any hiccups along the way because of this.

The other reason I'm bringing this up is to advise everyone else: DO NOT logout of your forum account if you can help it! If you do, you may not be able to log back in should this issue occur again and if so, I have no idea how long it might be out for, nor do I know what else I can do to fix any of this besides waiting things out to see if it clears up on its own like it thankfully did today, despite it persisting for like 12+ hours lol.

If you *do* get signed out for whatever reason, please make sure you join our Discord as I've opened up a temporary forum section in the server for those affected, so you can continue to post forms like usual if you're ever without access to the forums! Any forms you need can be requested in the #form-requests channel so someone who can still see the forums will be able to send you the form template(s) needed.

If this problem happens again, I will most likely start transferring everything on the forums to a Dreamwidth community that'll be used by everyone going forward once everything's moved over! I backed up the forum database already and will do it again if I ever have to move everything over so anything not responded to will be saved, and they can still be processed afterwards - but I will go into more details about this at a late date if I end up having to move everything! For now, please continue using the forums if you still have access but also save a copy of everything you want in case you need to re-post/reference them later.

GAME UPDATES

A new week for submissions has started in Group Collect so if you have any kotoriminami-tropicalfruits cards that we don't have yet, please consider donating them to the current round! I've also started another, third round of submissions for this month's Collab Stage as we still have lots of spots left and are already have two more weeks left in the month. If you've already donated an image this round, you may donate another one now!

COMING SOON

The next update will be on July 27th! We are coming up on the end of the month so this is an early-ish reminder to play monthly games, claim & submit your donations before August, collect your birthday present if you were born this month, etc. I'll also be trying to lock in on catching up with graphics on the forums this week, just in case we do end up moving everything so there'll be less backlog to transfer as well so wish me luck and pray I don't flop!!
