Experience Levels

To mimic gaining experience in the "industry" known as SPARKLING!, members will begin at the Idol Hopeful rank when they first join the TCG and can work their way up the ranks to stardom! We track progress according to your card worth so once you've obtained a certain amount of cards, you will be allowed to level up to the next rank.

Please use the table below to see all the ranks in our system, their minimum card worth requirement, and the reward you'll receive from reaching each rank! The "Amount Difference" refers to how many cards were added to the minimum card worth requirement of the rank in the previous row, to get the new minimum requirement of the next rank (that the amount is listed in the same row as).

EXAMPLE – The amount difference listed with the Kenkyuusei rank is +250 cards so that is how many cards were added to the minimum card worth requirement of the Auditionee rank (the previous rank before Kenkyuusei)—which is 250 cards—thus making the min. requirement of the new rank (Kenkyuusei) be 500 cards (250 + 250 = 500)!

As you can see, the last official rank is Level 10: Legendary Idol. This is because you are considered experienced enough to have a stable career and will now receive a steady Artist Pay instead! While this looks like the next "rank" listed in the table and will have its own section on the Members List, it isn't technically its own rank that gets its own badge! It's just our workaround in the code to allow the Artist Pay rewards but as a result, it has to be displayed as if it is its own rank.

ARTIST PAY

Upon reaching that last rank (Legendary Idol), you will become eligible for Artist Pay instead of levelling up to a new rank each time, which is a flat reward of 5 choice cards, 5 random cards, 5 ribbons, 2 EXP every time you collect 2500 cards. This means you can claim your first artist pay once you have at least 10,000 card worth, your next artist pay at 12,500 card worth, and so on!

While your rank won't change in name, you will still use the regular level up form to claim your artist pay whenever you're eligible to! What does change, however, is the addition of extra benefits for being a Legendary Idol like gaining access to the special shop for players at this rank only, and more to be announced in the future! LEVEL BADGES

At SPARKLING! we will not be doing custom level badges for the time being. Instead, we will allow members to donate premade level badge sets that others can use to display their experience level tier! You can view all currently available level badge sets here.

Players can donate a total of 2 badge sets per month, where 1 full set = 10 badges total (one badge per rank) and will reward you with 5 random cards, 1 ribbon (per full set).
