Training Journal

At SPARKLING!, trading rewards take the form of a Training Journal, where you can earn rewards based on two factors: the number of cards you trade overall throughout your time in the TCG, and the number of unique players you trade with in a month! Each category/journal type gives you a separate reward so you can get one reward for the TRAINING LOG and another reward for the TRAINING ACTIVITY if you're active enough!

QUICK SUMMARY

JOURNAL TYPEDESCRIPTIONREQUIREMENTSREWARDS
Training ActivityWhere you track the total amount of cards you trade + gift away over time like the usual trading rewards in other TCGs. Cards from Solo Stage decks, both types of Collab Stage decks, and Producer Cards all count as 1 trade point each, per card!• Every 1 card traded/gifted = 1 trade point
20 trade points = 1 completed page
4 random cards, 1 ribbon per completed page
  +1 ribbon every 5th page
+1 choicecard coupon every 10th page
Training LogWhere you track the total number of unique players you trade with each month. This count resets on the 1st of each new month, and multiple training logs can be claimed in the same month if requirements are met!• Every 10 different players = 1 completed training log5 random cards, 2 ribbons per completed training log
While players will still add trade logs to their site account via the Training Activity form, we also ask that players create a personal thread in the Training Journal sub-forum after they read the additional guidelines in the information thread, where they'll post the additional reward forms mentioned below.

TRAINING ACTIVITY

The main portion of your Training Journal is the Training Activity, which keeps track of your overall and continued trading progress that will never be reset. These are your regular trading logs that count how many cards you trade, and are what you'll add to your account via the Training Activity form, so it can be converted into Trading Points which you can then submit to receive the base rewards on-site!

Tip! If you need a tutorial on how to add trade logs to your account, please see our Beginner's Guide for a step-by-step guide. If you've been a member of other TCGs using Stack, however, then you'll probably be familiar with this process already!

For every 1 card you trade away or gift to another member, you will receive 1 trade point. A "Card" in this case includes Solo Stage decks, both Collab Stage-type decks, and Producer Cards so trading/gifting any combination of these will earn you 1 point per card! Once you've accumulated 20 trade points, you've completed 1 page of your Training Journal and will receive a base reward of: 4 random cards, 1 ribbon (per page).

As an additional incentive to encourage even more trading, players will also receive 1 extra ribbon for every 5 completed pages in your journal as well as 1 choicecard coupon for every 10 completed pages. Pages are counted cumulatively, and rewards do stack!
EXAMPLE: The 1st to 4th pages you complete will earn you 4 random cards, 1 ribbon (the base reward) per page but once you've completed your 5th page overall, you'll receive 4 random cards, 2 ribbons instead (the base reward + 1 ribbon from the reward for every 5th completed page).

Similarly, your 6th - 9th completed pages will earn you the base reward for each page again but once you've completed your 10th page overall, you'll receive 4 random cards, 2 ribbons, 1 choiecard coupon (the base reward + 1 ribbon from the reward for every 5th completed page + 1 choicecard coupon from the reward for every 10th completed page) - and so on for all completed pages afterwards!
These additional rewards can be claimed by filling out the Additional Rewards Claim form in your personal thread on the forums, and waiting for staff approval so they can send the reward to your account (which you can then collect so the ribbons earned can be added to your on-site count and used in the Sparkle Shop)!

GIFTING

As mentioned, gifting is allowed in this TCG and will count towards trading points ONLY for the player who is giving the card(s) away! The member on the receiving end cannot count the gift as a trade or towards trading points so if you receive a gift along with a regular trade, make sure to log it separately as a gift from the player's name in your activity log. There will be further instructions on the Training Activity form about how to add gifts to your on-site logs and have them be converted into trading points!

TRAINING LOG

The second portion of your Training Journal is the Training Log, which keeps track of how many different players you trade with in a calendar month. Progress does reset on the 1st of each new month but this is to 1) encourage being more proactive in seeking out trades, and 2) so members have a way to still obtain rewards, just in case there's ever a time when there's not a lot of members to trade with so they can only trade with the same players who are active!

For every 1 player you trade with, you can log their name for the current month. Even if you trade with Player A two times in April 2025, you can only count their name once for the entirety of that month! Additionally, once you've used Player A in one set of training logs that has been or will be claimed for rewards, you can't use their name in another set during the same month.

Please note! Gifting a player does not count towards the Training Log. You must trade with that player if you want to record their name in the log!

Once you've traded with 10 different players during the month, you will receive a reward of 5 random cards, 2 ribbons. This reward can be claimed multiple times in the same month for every 10 unique players traded with!

Members can collect their Training Log rewards by filling out the Training Log Reward form in your personal thread on the forums, and wait for staff approval so they can send the reward to your account. Whether you use the graphic tracker (see below) or not, all members MUST provide both a list of the 10 players being used for each reward claim + the logs of the trades you made with those players so staff can verify!

TRAINING LOG TRACKER

Unlike the training activity, which uses the site's tracking system to log trade logs and trading points, TRAINING LOGS must be manually tracked by the player themselves. While this can take form in any way that the player prefers, we do provide graphics that anyone can use for this!

Below is an example of our Training Log Tracker which you can see has slots for 10 players that you can paste the Trading ID of onto and use as a visual tracker each month. There is also space to add your name and the current month!

Training IDs are smaller, vertical versions of a player's Producer Card which you can find displayed on their site profile. Simply copy and paste it onto the Training Log Page graphic for every player you trade with during the month!

(Example Training ID, Training ID Filler)

If you choose not to use this tracker but still want to use the Training IDs, you could also display them as a collecting deck in eTCG or on a page of your trade post that you manually edit/update yourself (or any other method!) with the provided filler above.

DOWNLOADS

To use the Training Log Tracker, we have both a blank .png version (to open in any photo editing program), as well as a .psd version (to open in any program that supports the format), so you can add your name, current month, and paste the Trading IDs onto.

The .psd version download also includes the font used (Babydoll) for the name and date sections of the graphic, if anyone prefers to use the same one! Feel free to use any font to add your info, and/or also change the colors in the .psd version though.
